Starting out coding with Python (First language)

Hey guys, I've had a little look around the Python/Coding section and it's rekindled my motivation for learning Python again.

Pretty much useless at the moment but I am currently using a website called Code Academy and learning Python through there.

Would you recommend this site? Is it worth my time, it seems like I'm learning but it doesn't seem that practical right now.

I would personally recommend using LearnCodeTheHardWay's Python book. Google for it, their books are how I learned Python, C, and Regex, and I personally think they're pretty great.
